Matcha Moment!

You only have to walk down any street in the UK and look at the A-boards outside Coffee Shops to see that Matcha is having its moment.

There are Matcha Lemonades, Oat Matcha’s, Strawberries and Cream Matcha’s as well as Iced Golden Matcha’s in fact there is a Matcha to suit almost every taste. It’s a great alternative to coffee and can be served hot or iced, making it an ideal all year-round drink.

Although Matcha, a type of tea made from powdered green leaves originated in China, most of today’s Matcha is produced in Japan. It’s rich in caffeine and antioxidants and may have benefits for brain, heart, and mental health.
